Childcare Sufficiency Assessment research framework awarded to Qa

Qa Research has become the sole supplier of Childcare Sufficiency Assessment research services to councils across the Midlands.

The contract award followed a competitive tender process which compared the company’s resources, expertise and quality assurance procedures against a range of other research suppliers.

Qa was immediately commissioned to conduct Childcare Sufficiency Assessments in Leicestershire, Lincolnshire and Northamptonshire. Local authorities within the East of England, West Midlands and East Midlands regions can also use the framework if required.

This contract brings the number of Childcare Sufficiency Assessments Qa has completed or is conducting to 20. Doncaster MBC, Staffordshire County Council and the London Boroughs of Barnet and Barking and Dagenham also recently accepted proposals from Qa after competitive tendering.

“Our flexible approach to research means we offer a mix of quantitative and qualitative solutions,” says Kerry Watson, Head of Children and Young People at Qa Research.

“Some of the authorities we are working with choose telephone and face-to-face surveys. Others combine surveys with focus groups. We are happy to advise on the merits of quantitative and qualitative research and create a research programme that is right for you.”
